Disputing the Accuracy or Completeness of Your Background Report

If you believe that any information in your background report prepared by Clarifacts is inaccurate or incomplete, you may file a dispute. We will promptly begin investigating, free of charge, the specific information you are disputing. The dispute investigation process may take up to 30 days, depending on the nature, scope and source of the information being disputed. You may file your dispute by contacting us by telephone, fax, email or regular mail using the contact information below.

 

Requesting a Free Copy of Your Background Report/File

Upon proper identification, you may request, at any time, a free copy of your background report /file previously prepared by Clarifacts, if any. We will also provide you a list of all Clarifacts clients who have received your background report for employment purposes during the last 2 years and for any other purpose during the last 12 months. You may submit your request by telephone, fax, email or regular mail using the contact information below.
